No Longer Lost...

Ok, so pretty much I waited really late to write something...So I'm just going to make this a sweet word before we hit the hay... :) Bear with me!

Now the tax collectors and "sinners" were all gathering around to hear him. But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law muttered, "This man welcomes sinners and eats with them." The Jesus told them this parable: "Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Does he not leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, "Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep." I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinners who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.
-Luke 15:1-7

I don't know about you, but reading this verse makes me feel special. The fact that Jesus will go through whatever it takes to have you back at home. This is also shown by the mere fact that Jesus died on the cross so that we wouldn't be called sinners. But the way this verse works it how it relates to a shepherd, this shepherd has a lot of sheep, but he personally has a strong deep love for each and every one of them, and it hurts him to see one gone astray. It's like he has a special unique love, one in which is different for each. And that he would go out of his way to find his beloved sheep, then rejoice and hold the sheep high once it is found. Guys, this is how God views us, he loves each and everyone of us in a special way, words cannot describe the compassion he has for us. We are like beautiful jewels, each one matters so dearly to Him. So He would do anything to bring us back to Him, when we repent and turn away from our bad actions or sins, he rejoices to have us found. He brags about us and loves when we are home, he takes more pleasure in us coming clean then all the others that chose not to. Because we matter that much!

Always remember that you are priceless, and so dear to God's heart. No matter what you may have done in the past, the Lord will always forgive you, and rejoice that you are no longer lost :) He would do anything and everything to see you back with Him, where you belong <3

Smile! Jesus Loves You!!!!
